AMD has just unveiled a line of the popular Ryzen CPU series that have higher clock speeds than the originals. The handy chart provided by AMD provide a nice way to see the performances of each chip.
Those who were looking to preorder/buy a Ryzen 2 chip will probably be thrilled to see the extra performance they hav ehte choice to get. But this upgrade comes at a cost as they will both be using a new X470 chipset that promises improved power management to support the power demand of the new chips. So if you’re in the market you may not be too happy to have to buy a new motherboard.
Casemaker Lian Li has unveiled a new mid-tower case called the PC-O11 Dynamic. It features two tempered glass panels (side & front). An illuminated front panel with 2 x USB 3.0, 2 x USB 3.1 Type-C, Mic In, and Audio Out. It also supports motherboard sizes E-ATX down to Mini-ATX and video cards up to 420mm. It has space for two or four 3.5″ or 2.5″ respectively and its available to buy for $100.
